Theater Pathway helps aspiring actors and directors emerge as confident and expressive performers by expanding their creativity, public speaking and performance skills, and their collaborative skills.
Students are exposed to a variety of techniques, ideas and materials to foster and expand their visual literacy. All classes supplement studio practice with art history, cultural conventions, and various styles.
Offers focused experience in the art form of expressive movement. Students will explore the fundamentals of dance, including different styles and forms such as modern, tap, hip hop, Dance Hall, jazz, ballet, contemporary and lyrical.
Explore the world of film production, cinematography and still photography through courses, hands-on projects using state of the art equipment, and working with guest artists.
The music pathway provides experience in creating, performing, analyzing and responding to music. Students develop musical skills through the study of music history, composition, and music theory.

Last Friday Feb 12th we had the STREAM of Light Parade here at the high school. Several AVPA and STEM students came bundled up to walk the parade with their beautiful lanterns. Well over 1500 people came to participate in the event and here are some picture of the evening.
